Dear Grandpa

Dear Grandpa, 
I wish I could tell you in person all the things I've done in the past ten years since your passing to the other side. I'll start by saying I'm a teenager now and I'm gonna be a senior in High School this year. That's kinda terrifying because everyone expects me to figure out what I'm gonna do in real life... Right now. :P 
I also got a boyfriend, and if you were here I don't know how you feel about that. I think everyone's kind of shocked. They don't want me to be in this relationship because they say it won't last , I won't marry him, etc. it's just all negative and it's tearing me down. I do have my mom on my side though, she likes my boyfriend. His family likes me too, or so I think. 
I got my YW medallion and I've always thought you'd be proud of me for that. I accomplished that but yet Carly can still cook and clean better than me. 
I'm a lot like my mom. I don't like to admit it but I am. I like to be organized, and independent. That pretty much sums both of us up in two words xD but I love her, she's literally my best friend! She tells me everything!!! 

Lastly I miss you. I know I was young when you died but I feel like I have a connection with you and I can't wait to see you again when there's the second coming. There is life after death, I will see you and everyone else I love in heaven again!!! God be with you till we meet again dear grandfather!!!

Wow I'm such good blogger! I love reading what I have said in the past. Anyways lets get down to business! Graduation for me is coming up in a short 18 days! That's the last time you are telling me something I'm not.

Thanks to Facebook memories today I was able to reflect on my first band camp 6 years ago. Wow what a ride colorguard was. I guess why I start off by talking about my marching band experience is because it is really the only thing I kept up with throughout my high school career. I learned a lot, I got a lot of bruises, swollen bumps, and even a black eye! Crazy to think that people think it's easier to do marching band than football sometimes.  Anyways, as much as I loved competing and being a part of something breathtakingly beautiful... I was bullied in colorguard. Not by the students, but by my first colorguard director. I don't really remember what I did to deserve the disrespect of said director.
